2. Services

HomeNest provides a range of interior design services, including but not limited to consultations, design plans, project management, and the supply and installation of furniture and fixtures.

3. Engagement and Contract

3.1 Initial Consultation: The initial consultation is provided free of charge. This meeting allows us to understand your requirements and discuss the scope of the project.

3.2 Proposal and Agreement: After the initial consultation, we will provide a detailed proposal outlining the scope of work, timeline, and estimated costs. Upon your acceptance of the proposal, a formal agreement will be signed.

4. Fees and Payment

4.1 Fee Structure: Fees are based on the scope of work and will be detailed in the proposal. Our fees may include design fees, project management fees, and costs for materials and labor.

4.2 Payment Schedule: Payments are typically divided into installments as follows:

• 30% upon signing the agreement
• 40% upon completion of the design phase
• 20% upon commencement of installation
• 10% upon project completion

4.3 Additional Costs: Any additional work or changes requested by the client that fall outside the scope of the initial agreement will be subject to additional charges.

5. Cancellation and Refunds

5.1 Cancellation by Client: If you decide to cancel the project after the agreement has been signed, you may be liable for costs incurred up to the point of cancellation. Refunds will be handled on a case-by-case basis.

5.2 Cancellation by HomeNest: HomeNest reserves the right to cancel the agreement if the client fails to comply with these Terms and Conditions or if there are unforeseen circumstances that prevent us from delivering the service. In such cases, the client will be refunded for any services not yet rendered.

6. Project Timelines

6.1 Timeline Estimates: All timelines provided are estimates and may be subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances. HomeNest will endeavor to adhere to the agreed timeline as closely as possible.

6.2 Delays: HomeNest is not responsible for delays caused by third-party suppliers, contractors, or other external factors beyond our control.

7. Client Responsibilities

7.1 Access: The client must provide HomeNest and its contractors with access to the property during agreed working hours.

7.2 Approvals: The client is responsible for obtaining any necessary permissions, permits, or approvals required for the project.

7.3 Information: The client must provide accurate and timely information as required for the project.

8. Intellectual Property

All designs, plans, and materials produced by HomeNest remain the intellectual property of HomeNest until full payment is received. Unauthorized use of our designs or materials is prohibited.

9. Warranty and Liability

9.1 Warranty: HomeNest offers a warranty on workmanship and materials for a period of 12 months from the completion of the project. This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, misuse, or damage caused by external factors.

9.2 Liability: HomeNest’s liability for any claims arising from the provision of services is limited to the value of the services provided. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

10. Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to attempt to resolve the matter amicably through negotiation. If a resolution cannot be reached, the dispute will be referred to mediation or arbitration as per Bangalore jurisdiction.

11. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bangalore.

12. Amendments

HomeNest reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Clients will be notified of any significant changes.
